It had been a while since he left....since that rainy day that nearly tore her apart.
But Mina was past that. At least....she convinced herself she was. There were times she still woke up in the middle of the night, shaken from a sweet dream that could have been. A dream where she was back in her beloved's arms, happy, content and warm. She thought she was dreaming again that day, when she saw that familiar face coming down the road towards the village. One that she cared for and adored for so long, but never thought she would see again. "Sh-Shadow...?" she said softly, looking up at him, hoping that this was real. He didn't reply as he held his gaze upon her, approaching her slowly. He stopped a few feet away and stared at her in almost an ashamed silence. Then, Shadow said the one thing Mina had never expected him to say. "...I'm sorry." All the emotions that she had kept inside since the day he left came rushing foward at the sound of those two words. Without a second thought, she rushed towards the small gap between him and embraced him with all her might. "I-it's okay, Shad....it's okay...." she said, fighting off the tears in her voice. "As long as you're back, I don't care...I really don't care...." "...don't worry. I'm not going anywhere." ---------------------------------------------------------------- .......orz Please, PLEASE excuse Luna's bad excuse for a ficlet ;___; It's sappy, it's dorky, it makes no sense compared to the story in the first pic, but DAMMIT, I had to write it >___<;; ANYWAY! This pic *points* is the sequel to THIS PIC and also the colored version of THIS ONE. .... ShadMina is an anti-drug, yosh <3;; That is all I can say. Enjoy~  |
